Brand Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and organizing content for fern.elise and their clients on social media and other platforms, as well as growing their overall presence through these platforms.


Our ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, is proficient in graphic design (or at least Canva!), and has a knack for writing/editing content. You will be required to design thumbnails for social media and write various pieces of content, including social media posts, blogs, and email newsletters.



Overall Social Media Strategy

  • Research current benchmark trends and audience preference

  • Generate, edit, publish, and share content

  • Oversee general social accounts

  • Regularly promote educational content using lead-generation tools

  • Bring ideas to the table to help grow social media presence

  • Spearhead the creation of social media promotions/campaigns

  • Copywriting — including writing/editing content (blog posts, emails, social, etc.)

  • Respond to community engagement and enquiries including Instagram and Facebook comments, DMs, email questions about services and products


Project Coordination and Management including:

  • Copy proofreading

  • Coordination and delivery of assets (images, copy etc) for editors, collaborators, sponsors

  • Asset management and organization (video, images etc)

  • Video proofing

  • Repurpose existing video content into Reels/Tiktoks

  • Collaborate with the Studio Operations Manager as necessary to ensure content is captured and turned around by deadlines.


Website, Email Newsletter and Blog Coordination

  • Construction of email newsletters and website blog posts

  • Construct email blasts for sales and other promotions

  • Regular website updates as needed for active campaigns



An energetic, motivated, self-starter who has a passion for communication and willingness to adapt to an ever-changing environment. A team player who is capable of wearing many hats and rising to the occasion.


  • Exceptionally organized with a keen eye for detail, ideally grammatically proficient.

  • Proficiency in proofreading, copy editing, and writing.

  • Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities, multitasking, or last-minute projects.

  • Forward-thinking

  • An excellent relationship builder with strong negotiation and communication skills – you enjoy networking and getting to know team members and partners.

  • Naturally inquisitive, deliberate, and collaborative team player, which makes you open and eager to engage with feedback.



  • 2+ years of social media marketing/administration and/or copywriting/editorial experience

  • Proficient across Excel and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc) and other administrative applications

  • Proficiency with marketing software platforms and/or CRM platforms.

  • Proficient in graphic design and editing tools such as Photoshop/Canva

  • Experience with current social media platforms such as Facebook/Instagram/Pinterest/Tiktok/YouTube

  • A college degree is a plus, but not necessary



Looking for full-time and part-time team members working 60% remotely, and 40% in-person.


Location: This position is open to applicants within Kingston/ St. Andrew. Applicants must be able to speak, read, and write English. The ideal candidate would be local to our studio in Kingston and willing to travel to capture content for social media upon request.
